I wore this spring look over the weekend for a casual day. I embraced the light coats and heels before it started to snow again in Pittsburgh. I guess it's thick coats and boots for the next couple of days for me...
It's a black and white affair (with a dash of pink on the lips) today. I am obsessed with this floral blazer, maybe it's because the price was super sweet or that the floral print is in a nontraditional black and white color scheme. Whatever it is, it is totally working for me. I can't wait to wear it with this dress when the weather warms up. Hope you are all enjoying the week and happy spring!
When I read fashion magazines, I always look at the items the editors suggest and the different price points to go with each piece. I wanted to give you my own little version of my favorite spring items with all different price points that fit into just about any budget. Every Tuesday is "Fab At Any Budget," here at Sealed With Style, but if you have any suggestions about what you would like to see next Tuesday, email or let me know in a comment... I love hearing from my readers!
I'm all about incorporating feminine and masculine pieces together to create one cohesive look. The camo and pink combo does just the trick for me. I wore this outfit over the weekend and it served as the perfect transitional look from day to night.
Monday I posted about mixing prints, one of my favorite spring trends! Today, I wanted to give you the ultimate guide and a list of items for the perfect pattern mixing. I am pretty obsessed with it all so I hope you are too! How is everyone's week going?!
I am all about mixing bold and colorful prints for spring. These pants are perfect to pair with other prints because the paisley design is subtle. The key is to pair bolder prints with subtler ones to have the perfect balance and achieve a hot spring look. I wanna know how you mix prints, so send me your best look or tell me about it!
If you follow my Instagram, you know that I had a little DIY time a few nights ago. I was so excited to finish it that I forgot to take pictures during the process. However, it is super easy to color up a necklace with nail polish and tooth picks (to make sure you stay in the lines). My goal was to make my necklace look like the gorgeous ones J. Crew is offering currently, but having it be in my price range. Mission accomplished! Stop in tomorrow to see how I styled it.
On another note, I am off to Philadelphia for a few days for work...
