High Bun How-To

Fashionistas, I have a fun how-to hairstyle for you today! Hello high bun...my favorite up-do! I have been rocking this look a lot lately, and I wanted to share with you my secret to the perfect bun. Gather your hair brush and comb, an old sock (that matches the color of your hair), scissors, hair ties, and bobby pins.

Next, put your hair in a high ponytail (or place it wherever you want the bun to lay). Then take your sock and cut the toe side off.

Now, you have a sock that is open on both sides. Roll the sock up so that you have a doughnut shape when finished. You can make it as thick or thin as you want depending on how big you want the bun to be. Then, put your ponytail through the hole of the sock, and start to wrap your hair around and pin with poppy pins (any size pin will do).

Continue wrapping your hair around until you can no longer see the sock. Make sure to check all angles (you don't want a stranger to come up to you and ask why you have a sock in your hair)! Spray your hair to assure the bun will stay put. I like to use Pantene hair products with an extra hold.

Ta-da! The final product! You may have recognized this look here + here on the blog!

Hope your week started off great!

Also, we remember those who died 11 years ago on this day, you will forever be remembered in our hearts!
