Fun, Flirty, & Feminine

Top: Unknown Brand   Skirt: Anthropologie (adore this one)    Shoes: BCBG via Marshalls (similar here)   Belt: H&M   Clutch: Nine West (craving this one)   Sunnies: Unknown Brand   Bracelets: Lucky Brand (similar cuff here), AE, H&M   Ring: Gift from friend (similar here)

When I am shopping for skirts, I look for three things. Yep, you guessed it! I look for a fun print, a flirty silhouette, and a feminine feel. This skirt has it all! I couldn't help but twirl around in this skirt over and over again. This will definitely be a signature piece in my closet! What will be your signature piece for the summer? Happy Thursday everyone!

Swimsuits for Every Body Type!

1 (bottoms here), 2 (bottoms here3 (bottoms here), 4 (bottoms here)
If you are top heavy, you need support! Wear tops that are thicker strapped or a suit with a sports bra effect! Also, wearing a different texture bottom (white suit) will even out proportions.

1 (bottoms here), 23 (bottoms here), 4 (bottoms here)
If you are bottom heavy, you want to wear a print or pattern on top and a solid one on the bottom to distract the eye towards your upper half!

1(bottoms here), 23 (bottoms here), 4
If you are curvy, you want to embrace your curves by wearing a black or floral one piece. Also, the tankini is great because it hides whatever you need it to. Outlining details (first suit) show off curves well!

12 (bottoms here), 34 (bottoms here)
If you are flat chested, you want to add volume to your chest and upper half by wearing a bathing suit with ruffles, frills, or fringe!

12 (bottoms here), 34
If you are flat bottomed, you want to create volume on your lower half by adding frills and ruffles. You also want to get a boy cut short so your bottom looks fuller!

Tall Tales

Top: Forever 21 (cute for summer here)   Pants: H&M   Shoes: Asos (on sale!)   Purse: Coach   Scarf: Unknown Brand   Sunglasses: Unknown Brand (loving these!)   Necklaces: (shorter) JCPenney's and (longer) Anthropologie   Bracelets: Ann Taylor, Brighton, Lucky Brand (on sale!)   Lipstick: Revlon "Stormy Pink"

For those of you ladies on the shorter side (I'm about 5'5) and looking to find ways to appear taller, I have the ultimate trick for you! High waisted pants + sky high heels = mile long legs! When I got these shoes in the mail, I was laughing as I pulled them out. The heels were so tall I thought I wasn't going to be able to wear them! However, I decided to take full advantage and use them to elongate my legs! Ladies pull out those ridiculously high Lady Gaga like shoes and (slowly) strut your stuff!

Any Day of the Year

Top: H&M Jeans: American Eagle Belt: American Eagle Shoes: Lucky Brand Hat: American Eagle Scarf: American Eagle (pretty in pink here) Purse: Tignanello via Marshalls Bracelets: Lucky Brand, INPINK, AE, H&M, DIY Ring: Lucky Brand (cute and similar here)

I think scarves can be worn any day of the year (well, maybe not when it is 90 degrees out). But on a cool spring day or in an air-conditioned area they are perfect! I love this one because it is lightweight and a bright color. Every girl should own a light summer scarf. (Also shown on the blog here.)
XO

Scarves are so versatile! Here are just some of the different ways you can incorporate your scarf into your wardrobe or daily outfits especially during the warmer months! (Scarf: Target (summer one here) Nail Polish: Essie "Nice is Nice" "ChinChilly" )

Wear the scarf in your hair, tied to your purse, in a bow under a collar, or around your waist!

And so my obsession with fun jewelry and mint clothing continues! These pants? Do I need to say more…they are amazing! And everyone knows my love for fun jewelry (only thing missing is earrings-I don’t have my ears pierced). I paired two necklaces together to add more volume to my pastel number today. Hope everyone is finding time to relax this week!

Mixing Prints with Maddie

Top: H&M Skirt: H&M (We also love this with stripes) Clutch: Ann Taylor Shoes: H&M Necklace: H&M (Similar Here) Bracelets: Lucky Brand (Similar Here), AE, H&M, Unknown Ring: Borrowed from mom (Cute Here

My younger sister is the most gorgeous girl ever! It was fun to be behind the camera this time and shoot this sweet little tall model. Mixing prints is a very big fashion statement right now… but you don’t have to put crazy, bold prints together. For this look we decided to go with a simple polka dot skirt and a pastel floral print up top. To make the look a little more edgy, we added a metal necklace. Madison is the best model, and I am so glad I got to shoot her.
Work it Maddie, love you!
